| Biography | Experience Kevin is a firm Shareholder who graduated from law school with honors in 1989 and has practiced in Orlando ever since. He has an "AV" rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Kevin is a seasoned appellate and trial lawyer. He has tried numerous complex state and federal court cases, both jury and non-jury and arbitrations. Kevin concentrates in construction, design, military defense contracts and commercial litigation. He has tried jury cases in disputes ranging from U.S. Department of Energy uranium mine remediation (UMTRA) projects in Colorado, to the construction of fiber optic communications systems in Bogota, Colombia, to civil wrongful death claims. He has represented victims of aircraft disasters. He has represented military defense contractors in disputes over the development, design and production of aircraft electronics systems and in cases in the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals. He has represented, pro bono, child abuse victims. Kevin is also an experienced appellate lawyer, having prepared and argued appeals in Florida appellate courts, the Florida Supreme Court, and the U.S. Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Background Originally from Bangor, Maine, Kevin has traveled extensively and has lived in Tokyo, Japan and Naples, Italy. He attended high school in Houston, TX and attended Texas A&M University on an ROTC scholarship. Kevin graduated cum laude and as a distinguished military graduate. After spending four years on active duty as a weapons-system procurement officer with the U.S. Air Force, Kevin resigned as a Captain in 1989 to practice law.
