Kirsten represents business clients, insurers and professionals in complex disputes. Much of her practice is devoted to insurance law, including duty to defend/indemnify, rights and liabilities arising out of coverage "gaps," suitability claims, lapse, insurer extra-contractual liability (bad faith failure to settle) and complex coverage issues.
She has over 10 years of experience prosecuting and defending malpractice claims, including accountant, legal, insurance agent and medical malpractice. In addition, Kirsten has extensive experience prosecuting and defending business disputes involving non-competition agreements and claims for breach of contract, tortious interference, negligence and misrepresentation.
Kirsten has first-chaired a jury trial and second-chaired numerous state and federal trials and administrative proceedings, all resulting in favorable outcomes. She has handled successful appeals to state and federal appellate courts.
