Kristen is an associate practicing in the Litigation Section of the firm's Boston office. Previously, Kristen served as a 2008 summer associate.
Prior to joining Mintz Levin, Kristen worked as special assistant district attorney in the Appeals and Training Bureau at the Middlesex District Attorney's Office. There, she wrote appellate briefs on behalf of the Commonwealth and argued cases before the appeals court. She also represented the Commonwealth in a district court operating under the influence (OUI) trial and at a parole hearing for a defendant convicted of second degree murder.
During law school, Kristen was a senior editor of the Boston College Law Review, where she authored "Medicare's August Rule: Necessary Step Toward Minimizing Federal Spending or Overbroad Decision Leading to Higher Malpractice Costs?" in 2009. Kristen was a student attorney at the Boston College Legal Assistance Bureau, where she represented clients under Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court Rule 3:03 in divorce cases involving child custody, visitation, and child support.
In addition, she was a legal intern at South Middlesex Legal Services (now MetroWest Legal Services), in the family law and pro bono departments. During law school, she worked as an assistant to an expert trial witness and was responsible for reviewing and extracting relevant information from pleadings, motions, and depositions in preparation for trial.
Kristen is admitted to practice in Massachusetts. She received her J.D. from Boston College Law School, cum laude, and her B.S. in Finance from Boston College, magna cum laude.
