Kristen Maurer is a member of Sutherland's Litigation Practice Group.
Prior to joining the firm, Kristen was an associate with a criminal defense law firm in Denver, Colorado where she primarily handled misdemeanor and felony cases and negotiated plea offers with district attorneys and county prosecutors. She also served as a deputy district attorney with the Office of the Weld County District Attorney. There she worked closely with law enforcement in the investigation and charging of cases and conducted jury trials and trials to the court.
Kristen is admitted to the Colorado Bar. Her application has been submitted to the District of Columbia Bar. Her work is supervised by District of Columbia Bar members.
