Kristin Silverman focuses her practice on antitrust and complex commercial litigation matters. She has represented clients in cases alleging price fixing, market allocation, monopolization, and bid-rigging, as well as in antitrust investigations conducted by the Department of Justice and various state authorities. She has played a significant role in briefing motions to dismiss, summary judgment, class certification, and related appeals. She has also handled discovery efficiently and successfully for many clients, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, taking and defending depositions, and managing large teams of attorneys conducting document review and fact development.
Kristin received her BS, cum laude, from Northwestern University (2003), and received her JD, with high honors, from IIT Chicago Kent College of Law (2008), where she was an executive editor of the law review and Order of the Coif. Prior to joining Mayer Brown, she served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Morton Denlow, Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois.
