Kyra Wagoner is an associate in the Indianapolis, Indiana office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP. She is a member of the firm's Real Estate Department, where she represents and advises clients in virtually all aspects of complex real estate transactions including the acquisition, disposition, leasing, development, and financing of commercial real estate.
Ms. Wagoner earned her J.D. magna cum laude from Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis. She was a note development editor for the Indiana Health Law Review. During law school, Ms. Wagoner was an extern for the in-house legal department of Health & Hospital Corporation, clerked for a judge, and was a certified legal intern for the Civil Practice Clinic.
Prior to law school, Ms. Wagoner worked for the Indiana Department of Financial Institutions. As a bank examiner, she evaluated the safety and soundness of state-chartered banks in Northern Indiana.
Ms. Wagoner earned her B.S. cum laude and with high honors in finance from Butler University in business administration. While at Butler University, she interned for USA Track & Field and Indiana Sports Corporation. She was also selected as one of Butler University's Top 100 Students.
Ms. Wagoner is an active member of Butler University's young alumni board of directors. She also volunteers with Dress for Success, and serves as a mentor to a Southport High School student through Starfish Initiative. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association, and the Indianapolis Bar Association. Ms. Wagoner is admitted to practice in the state of Indiana as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.
