Tony's practice is focused on commercial real estate. He has handled a variety of multifamily and commercial loan transactions nationwide that are intended to be securitized or otherwise sold in the secondary market. He has developed extensive expertise in both the Fannie Mae DUS™ and Freddie Mac Program Plus® multi-family financing programs, and has advised clients regarding workouts and loan restructurings for distressed properties.
In addition to finance work, Tony has represented developers, landlords, tenants and lenders in connection with the acquisition, development, management, operation, sale and leasing of major commercial real estate projects throughout the United States. He has advised clients regarding compliance, condemnation and enforcement issues related to these commercial real estate transactions.
Representative Experience
Lead attorney in closing hundreds of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac multifamily loans across the country involving billions of dollars on behalf of our various mortgage lending clients.
Lead attorney for several very large Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac pool transactions in excess of $100,000,000 secured by portfolios containing dozens of multifamily projects.
Represented the mortgage lender in making multiple complex Freddie Mac loans in excess of $215,000,000 secured by a single, large, mixed-use multifamily project.
Represented the mortgage lender in numerous Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac tax-exempt bond and low income housing tax credit transactions.
