LOGOS provides companies and institutions with services based upon the firm's long history of legal practice going back to 1907. LOGOS specializes primarily in corporate and commercial law providing service for both the international business community and local Icelandic clients requiring international legal assistance. Our team of 45 highly respected and experienced lawyers and 19 assistants, both in Reykjavik and London, are committed to offering an excellent and efficient level of legal service to our clients in every practice area covered by the firm.

LOGOS has a track record for assisting clients in taking advantage of the ever-changing opportunities in a range of industries and developments in infrastructure, not only in Iceland, but also in Europe and the US. The firm has advised Icelandic clients in mergers and acquisitions matters outside Iceland, and advised foreign inventors in Iceland, on project finance, loan agreements, structured finance and equity investments. In January 2006 the firm expanded into tax, when Bjarnfredur Olafsson joined the firm as a partner, advising clients on structures and tax matters arising in international transactions as well as on issues relating to domestic taxation.

In January 2006 LOGOS opened an office in London in cooperation with the Danish law firm Kromann Reumert, the Norwegian firm Thommessen Krefting Greve Lund and the Swedish law firm Vinge. The opening of our London office proves that LOGOS continues to lead the way in legal services for businesses, both at home and abroad.
