LaTi is a member of the Casualty Department and focuses the majority of her practice on the defense of homeowner associations, retail stores, and homeowners in premise liability cases. She also represents individuals in common driveway cases. In that capacity, she develops and implements discovery strategy in major jury, arbitration, and muncipal cases. LaTi also has experience in consumer credit litigation regarding claims and suits brought under the Federal Debt Collections Practice Area as well as the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, LaTi was a certified legal intern for Neighborhood Legal Services in Pittsburgh, PA, where she represented indigent clients. Before entering law school, LaTi worked for two years at PNC Bank in their Wealth Management Department, both in Philadelphia, PA and Bridgewater, NJ. There she advised clients on their investments and acted as a liaison between the retail banking division and the wealth management group to foster new business relationships.
In May of 2013, LaTi graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. During law school, LaTi was a development editor for the Pittsburgh Journal of Public Health Law and obtained a certification in Civil Litigation. She also served as the Black Law Students President, where she ran a one-day legal clinic that advised and assisted over 30 low-income clients.
LaTi spent her summers during law school as an intern at the U.S.. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and as a summer associate for a Philadelphia law firm. She also volunteered as an alternative dispute resolution teacher for high school students, where she helped students become peer mediators within their school. In 2008, LaTi earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh, graduating cum laude with B.S. in Business and Psychology.
