LANE F. KELMAN is a Partner in the Construction Group of Cohen Seglias Pallas Greenhall & Furman PC and Chair of the Firm's Green Building Practice. With an active and diverse construction litigation practice, Lane represents developers, general contractors, construction managers and different trades in complex construction matters. His work ranges from bid protests and contract negotiations to claim prevention and management as well as suspension and debarment proceedings. Lane's practice encompasses private and public sector projects and includes an emphasis in green building and Federal Contracting.

Lane speaks regularly throughout the country on topics such as sustainable building, claim and risk management. Lane is a contributor to the Firm's Federal Construction Contracting blog and Construction Law Signal . His reported decisions include Schuylkill Prods., Inc. v. Commonwealth, Dep't of Transp .

•Representation of owner-developer in multi-million dollar claim against mechanical engineer for errors and omissions in design and L.E.E.D. accreditation.
•Multi-prime litigation on behalf of a general contractor involving claims against a public owner, design professional, and multiple trades for delay damages, lost productivity, out of scope work, in conjunction with the successful defense of owner claims in excess of $10 million dollars.
•Multi-jurisdictional representation of a contractor involved in state and federal debarment proceedings and successful challenge to state's debarment action in Schuylkill Prods., Inc. v. Commonwealth, Dep't of Transp., 962 A.2d 1249 (Pa. Commw. Ct. 2008) .
•Mechanics' lien claim and arbitration seeking recovery of extra-work and delay damages related to L.E.E.D. and design errors.
•Prosecution of differing site condition claims in the US Court of Federal Claims against the US government and related delay claims.
