The Lanx Lancis legal practice was launched on May 1, 2004 with a mission to offer comprehensive solutions to its clients in the changing landscape of the British Virgin Islands ("BVI") financial services industry.

Initially conceptualized as a boutique law firm providing legal services exclusively to the MWM Group of companies (Abacus Trust and Management Services Limited, Meade Malone & Co., MWM Financial Services Group Limited, MWM Corporate Services Limited, MWM Services Limited and MWM Insurance Limited) and select clients within the BVI financial services sector, Lanx Lancis evolved into a broad-based civil practice specialising in non-contentious matters in the areas of trust, company, investment funds, telecommunications, banking, taxation, corporate restructuring, insolvency, real estate and employment law.

The Lanx Lancis client base has steadily grown since its inception and as it positions itself for further inevitable growth, the firm has further expanded the services which it offers into a general corporate-commercial practice offering legal and notarial services to select local clients as well as to offshore financial services sector clients.

Lanx Lancis is headed up by Debbie Wilmot, a specialist in corporate and commercial law with over 7 years experience in advising on a wide spectrum of issues relating to British Virgin Islands International Business Companies and Business Companies.
