This firm was founded on February 1, 2003 following the dissolution of one of Athens, Alabama's oldest firms, Patton, Latham, Legge & Cole. The senior partner has over 40 years of trial experience. The firm's practice has a large civil litigation component that includes insurance defense, corporate, and family law. The firm also represents the interests of government including municipalities and school boards, as well as small business, banking, and an active criminal defense practice. Civil litigation is handled in all of the counties in the northern tier of Alabama in both State and Federal courts.
