Ms. Kyler's practice encompasses a broad range of complex commercial litigation matters for public and private companies and individuals, including contract disputes, redevelopment law, condemnation/ eminent domain proceedings, land use litigation, actions in lieu of prerogative writs, commercial leasing matters, and restrictive covenant issues. Ms. Kyler represents clients in trial and appellate work in state and federal courts, and has handled a number of arbitrations and mediations. She has significant experience representing commercial property owners and tenants in condemnation proceedings initiated by federal, state and local condemning authorities, including hearings before condemnation commissioners, appeals to the Superior Court, negotiating just compensation awards, and advising displaced businesses with respect to relocation assistance. She also advises developers in connection with property acquisition and valuation issues, redevelopment proceedings, and relocation obligations. Ms. Kyler is an editor of the New Jersey Civil Trial Handbook, Fifth Edition (Thomson West Publishing).
