Lauren Diulus is a member of the firm’s Employment Practice Group. Lauren focuses her practice primarily on counseling employers on a variety of issues involving all aspects of the employment relationship, from hiring through termination. She also has a wealth of experience in representing employers in employment-related litigation before administrative agencies and courts on both the state and federal levels including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, and the City of Pittsburgh Commission on Human Relations.
Lauren advises clients on various employment issues including, but not limited to, employment discrimination, workplace and sexual harassment, disability accommodation, Family & Medical Leave Act compliance, employee handbooks, human resource policies and practices, wage and hour issues, performance appraisals, workplace investigations, disciplinary action and termination, employment at-will/wrongful discharge, alternative dispute resolution, employment agreements, waivers and releases, and unemployment compensation claims.
Prior to joining Leech Tishman, Lauren was an associate at Jackson Lewis LLP and the former law firm of LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene and MacRae, representing management in various areas of law, including employment law. Lauren also served for three years as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Alan N. Bloch in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
