Practice/Industry Group Overview
Sometimes a situation arises when the married or unmarried couples have children and they do not want a set of grandparents to have involvement with their children. These cases are extremely emotional. The litigation surrounding grandparents suing for visitation against their own child and that child’s spouse or partner takes emotions to a new level. I have litigated these cases, and actually was involved with the Supreme Judicial Court’s landmark decision Blixt which described what a grandparent must prove to be successful in having visitation over the objections of the child’s parents. When we meet, I would be happy to discuss your unique circumstances.
