Oliver (participant in the original Virginia Bar Counsel) all the way back to Bedford's two Supreme Court Justices, Edward Calohill Burks and Martin Parks Burks. Our leader, Harry W. Garrett, Jr. has served this community in both governmental offices and private practice since 1961. He enjoys the admiration of his peers as a top-flight trial lawyer and orator.
