Since 1995, Clint Lawson has optimized the resolution of his clients' family law issues through the effective use of litigation, mediation and collaborative law strategies.
Clint is a specialist in all types of divorce and family law matters, including child custody and the division of complex marital property estates.
Clint has "first-chair" trial experience, including jury trials, and has successfully handled cases through the appellate process. Most recently, Clint prevailed in the Houston Court of Appeals. See: Lee, In re, No. 14-11-00714-CV (Tex. App. Houston, 14 Dist., 2011) (orig. proceeding) (mem. op.).
Clint is a certified mediator and often assists family courts in the settlement of family law cases. For clients that prefer to avoid a contested litigation process, a collaborative divorce process may be an effective strategy.
Clint is a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, the San Antonio Bar Association and the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists. Clint has served as a Director on the board of Gulf Coast Family Law Specialists and since 2002 has maintained membership in the College of the State Bar of Texas.

As a stepfather of six children, Clint has earned a practical understanding of the challenges faced by divorcing parents raising children, including the difficult issue of teenagers and visitation.
