About this office:

My practice currently consists of predominantly criminal defense, juvenile delinquency defense, contempt defense and defending conservatorship cases arising under the Landermann-Petris-Short (LPS) Act. I handle cases, ranging from misdemeanor cases to serious felony cases including homicides, juvenile delinquency cases, and LPS conservatorship cases. I occasionally take on civil and/or administrative cases, largely those which are substantially related to my criminal defense practice; usually, this means taking care of a traffic citation for a client facing criminal charges, but also includes such ancillary matters as defending against civil contempt citations. I pride myself not only on the results which I have achieved, but also:

I have been rated among the top 5% of Northern California lawyers by San Francisco Magazine in their annual "Super Lawyers" supplement 2004 - 2006 and 2009. I do not advertise in their supplement.

I have been certified as a criminal law specialist by the State Bar of California.

I defend the cases vigorously, yet ethically; I have never had any court, co-counsel or prosecutor question either my word or my ethics.
