Mrs. Cohen took my case for an appeal and charged me a retainer of 4 hours which included appearing and representing me at the oral communication with West Hollywood's Rent Stabilization board. Mrs. Cohen went out of town for a vacation just prior to my case hearing and left me without representation and I lost the decision. Also my calculations determine that she put in about 2 hours of work into my case and situations left me to formulate my appeal on my own. LI was denied a refund.
