Lee Lastovich is a Shareholder and the Litigation Manager of the Minneapolis, Minnesota office of Jackson Lewis P.C.
Mr. Lastovich holds an “AV Preeminent” rating for professional excellence and ethics from Martindale-Hubbell (highest rating), and has maintained that distinction for over ten consecutive years. He is perennially rated a “Super Lawyer” in Employment Defense Litigation, and earned a “Top Rated Lawyer” in Litigation designation from ALM. Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Mr. Lastovich served as the chair of the litigation section of a Minneapolis - St. Paul firm, and held a position on that firm's board of directors.
Mr. Lastovich is an experienced litigator and trial lawyer who defends employers against claims of discrimination (race, age, gender, religion, disability, national origin, sexual orientation), retaliation (including whistleblower and USERRA claims), harassment, defamation, negligence, breach of contract, and promissory estoppel. Clients also regularly retain him to protect their interests in non-compete, non-solicitation, trade secret and unfair competition lawsuits, as well as fraud and misrepresentation claims.
Mr. Lastovich is a member of the Minnesota Bar, and is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts in the State of Minnesota, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States. He is also a Qualified Neutral authorized to act as an arbitrator and mediator pursuant to the Minnesota General Rules of Practice. He graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota Law School and St. John's University.
