Leianne S. McEvoy is a member of the firm's Product Liability Practice Group, where she represents businesses and individuals in a variety of commercial, medical malpractice, premises liability and product liability matters. Leianne is a trial, appellate and regulatory lawyer, and her practice focuses on representing manufacturers, retailers, and other corporate clients in mass tort litigation matters involving multiple parties, multiple claims, and the allocation of liability among related corporate entities, including claims arising from occupational exposures and other allegedly hazardous substances. Leianne has experience in national and local commercial matters including cost recovery negotiations on behalf of manufacturers and litigation of contractual disputes. In addition, she has experience representing consumer creditors in lawsuits and arbitration claims related to credit reporting, billing practices, and debt collection practices. Leianne also defends health care clients with a focus on catastrophic injury cases and serves as Maryland trial counsel for a number of national retailers.
Leianne is active in the Maryland Defense Counsel, Inc. and serves as a Board Member and Co-Editor of the Defense Line. Leianne is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law where she was a Member of the Law Review, Law Forum and Heuisler Honor Society.
