Ms. Thelen, a registered patent attorney, focuses her practice on all aspects of intellectual property law. She provides strategic counseling to clients in managing and developing worldwide intellectual property portfolios.
Ms. Thelen focuses primarily on preparation, prosecution, enforcement and foreign filing of U.S. domestic patent applications. Specific technology areas include manufacturing, energy systems, optical devices, mechanical machines and processes, medical devices, electro-mechanical devices, consumer appliances, and internet- and software-related technologies. Ms. Thelen counsels clients on issues of patentability, freedom to operate and infringement.
Ms. Thelen's pro bono activities include patent prosecution and representation of foster parents in child adoption cases.
