On Friday May 18, 2012, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) announced an extension to the deadline by which existing swimming pools must comply with the 2010 Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Standards for Accessible Design. Existing pools must comply with the standards by January 31, 2013.
