In 1955, David H. Levin and Reubin Askew founded the Firm of Levin & Askew. Much has changed for the Firm since those early years. Reubin Askew became Governor of Florida and eventually a candidate for President of the United States.

The Firm was renamed to Levin, Papantonio which now has 30 attorneys, 4 investigators, 17 paralegals, 4 in-house computer specialists and 130 employees.

Levin, Papantonio has the only member of the Inner Circle of Advocates within several hundred miles of northwest Florida. In addition, attorneys in the Firm have been profiled in, among others, George Magazine, Forbes Magazine, Florida Trend Magazine, Time, Lawyers Weekly, American Lawyer, National Law Journal, and US Magazine. Four attorneys are listed in the publication Best Lawyers in America.

Levin, Papantonio concentrates its practice in areas involving serious personal injury/wrongful death, mass tort, medical malpractice, product liability and commercial litigation. In the past 25 years alone, the Firm has received more than 70 jury verdicts in the amount of one million dollars or more, including 10 in excess of ten million dollars.
