She is an associate with Creel, García-Cuéllar, Aiza y Enriquez S.C. in Mexico City, where she specializes in insurance and reinsurance transactions, with a focus on regulatory compliance before the Mexican Ministry of Finance and the National Insurance and Bonding Commission. Ms. Fernandez has actively represented domestic and international companies in establishing Mexican affiliated insurance companies, representing Mexican insurance companies in conciliatory proceedings before the National Commission for the Defense of Users of Financial Services (CONDUSEF), closing reinsurance agreements and counseling in title insurance, mortgage insurance and financial guaranty insurance lines of business. She joined the Firm in 2006.
