Overview
Lilly Huang is an Associate in our Corporate group. She focuses her practice on health law compliance, international trade, and general corporate matters with particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, private financings and securities.
Prior to joining the firm, Lilly worked as an Intern for the Securities and Exchange Commission and also as a Law Clerk for the Civil Division of the US Attorney's Office Department of Justice. Lilly is proficient in Mandarin Chinese.
Representative Experience
· Representation of academic medical centers, healthcare systems, universities, foundations and research institutes and provides advice with regard to technology and intellectual property matters, as well as with general healthcare law compliance (Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, HITECH).
· Representation of a leading online game developer and operator in China in its initial public offering; continued representation of the company in US general corporate and securities matters.
· Representation of Boston Culinary Group, a leading provider of food and beverage concessions services, in its merger with Centerplate, Inc., a Kohlberg & Co., portfolio company.
· Representation of online advertising company in venture capital financing.
· Representation of restaurant chain in stock sale.
· Representation of technology-based businesses regarding US export controls compliance, including proper classification of their technologies, products and services relative to the EAR and ITAR, establishing export compliance programs, obtaining export licenses and clearances from the Commerce Department's Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) and the State Department's Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC), and otherwise helping them comply with the EAR and the ITAR.
