Linda concentrates her practice on the defense of employers in Delaware workers' compensation matters. She has experience representing all types of employers and carriers, ranging from small employers with only a few employees to Fortune 100 companies. Linda counsels her clients on all aspects of Delaware workers' compensation law.
Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, Linda was with the Delaware Department of Justice where she served as deputy attorney general and also represented the Delaware Division of Industrial Affairs. She also sat with the Industrial Accident Board (IAB), providing legal advice and drafting decisions. Linda was then appointed by the Delaware Secretary of Labor to the position of workers' compensation hearing officer. During this time, she wrote decisions for the IAB and, upon stipulation of the parties, sat in place of the IAB, hearing and deciding those matters.
Today, Linda actively appears before the IAB on a variety of legal issues and types of injuries, from crushes and burns to catastrophic injuries, hearing loss, psychological injuries, amputations, electrical shock injuries and repetitive trauma injuries.
Linda received her B.S. in Economics from the University of Delaware and her juris doctor from the Widener University School of Law.
