Professional Experience
Linda Dalby, of counsel in the Individual Clients Department, has practiced for more than 25 years on all phases of trust administration, financial and estate planning, and estate administration. She employs a holistic approach that combines attention to wealth transmission tax issues with nonmonetary transmission of family values and history, whether in business succession planning, stewardship of the land, philanthropic endeavors, or estate plans crafted to reward initiative and effort by future generations rather than as vehicles of entitlement. She counsels individuals, families, trustees, and executors, and has handled contested claims, negotiations of estate and tax settlements, international tax planning, and probate litigation. She particularly enjoys the creation and administration of private charitable foundations, and serving a family through the generations as trustee, executor, guardian, and legal advisor.
