Lindsey M. Yurtkuran was born in Jackson, Mississippi on July 11, 1977. She graduated from the University of Mississippi in 1999 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. Ms. Yurtkuran attended the University of Mississippi School of Law where she graduated cum laude in May of 2006. While in law school, Ms. Yurtkuran was a member of Moot Court Board, where she served as Chairman of the Second Annual Copeland, Cook, Taylor & Bush 1L Appellate Advocacy Competition in 2006.
Ms. Yurtkuran practices primarily in the areas of commercial litigation and oil and gas law. She is admitted to practice before all Mississippi state courts, federal district courts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Ms. Yurtkuran is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association, American Bar Association, Madison County Bar Association and the Jackson Young Lawyers Association.
