Lindsey Druhan is an associate and has been with Starnes Davis Florie since 2006. Practice Lindsey is a member of the firm's recruiting committee and has worked on a variety of litigation matters, including health care, legal malpractice and consumer finance. She has assisted in the representation of various professionals in both state and federal courts. Highlights * Obtained dismissal on behalf of mortgage servicing company and its investor wherein Plaintiff asserted purported violations of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedure Act and Home Ownership & Equity Protection Act. * Obtained a dismissal for a mortgage servicing company and its investor in a case involving purported violations of the Truth in Lending Act. * Obtained a dismissal for a national bank in a case involving purported violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. * Obtained a dismissal for a mortgage company in a case involving purported claims of fraud. Honors And Awards While in law school, Lindsey was an associate editor for the American Journal for Trial Advocacy. She was also a Caruthers Fellow and won the Donworth Moot Court Competition. Community Involvement Lindsey currently serves on the Executive Board as Recording Secretary of the Ballet Guild of Birmingham. She also served as a committee chairman for the 2008 American Diabetes Association's Tour de Cure, and is a Junior Board member of Nursing for The University of Alabama at Birmingham. Lindsey is also a member of the National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL), and is currently serving on the Annual Awards Luncheon Planning Committee and the Night of Giving Committee for the NAWL Annual Night of Giving in Birmingham, AL.
