Lisa S. Presser is a managing partner of the firm and leader of the Private Client Group. Prior to joining Drinker Biddle, she was an associate with Kaye, Scholer, Fierman, Hays and Handler for eight years.
Areas of Concentration. Lisa has extensive experience in the areas of estate planning and estate and trust administration. Lisa works with clients to develop estate plans to meet their personal and financial goals. She has experience in drafting wills and trusts using generation-skipping transfer tax planning, marital deduction planning and other sophisticated techniques for the succession of family wealth. Lisa advises individual and corporate fiduciaries with respect to probate matters, trust accountings and the ongoing administration of trusts and estates. Her work in the estate administration area includes post-mortem tax planning and income tax planning.
Education and Professional Activities. Lisa graduated from Brooklyn College Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude in 1982 and from the Cardozo School of Law magna cum laude in 1985. While in law school, Lisa served as research and book review editor of the Cardozo Law Review.
