Lisa's practice includes prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications in a variety of technologies, with a focus in the chemical, biochemical, biotechnology, medical device, and mechanical arts. Lisa devotes a significant amount of time to U.S. and foreign trademark prosecution. Lisa represents national and international companies of all sizes, sole inventors, start-up companies, and leading academic and government research institutions.
Lisa has been named a 2009 Rising Star in Intellectual Property by Massachusetts SuperLawyers.

· Lisa performs freedom-to-operate, patentability, infringement, and validity analysis.
· Lisa has successfully prosecuted and obtained United States and foreign patent protection in a wide variety of technologies, including the chemical, biochemical, biotechnology, medical and analytical devices, semiconductors, and mechanical arts.
· Lisa has particular expertise securing patent rights for a wide variety of medical devices, including ophthalmic diagnostic and surgical devices, drug delivery devices, laparoscopic and endoscopic diagnostic and surgical devices, and medical introducer sheaths.
· Lisa has successfully prosecuted and obtained patent protection for a number of medical devices currently in clinical use.
· Lisa has argued successfully before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
