Liu, Shen & Associates

Established in 1993, Liu, Shen & Associates is a private law firm mostly handling transnational legal matters focusing on intellectual property. The firm possesses a unique position in China as it is the first law firm in China that is designated by Chinese government agencies to represent foreign applicants in filing and prosecuting patent applications and in registration trademarks in China. The firm thus has the capability to serve its clients on all phases of intellectual property: acquisition of the rights, transfer and licensing of the rights, investment with the rights, enforcement of the rights and related litigation and administrative proceedings. The firm has 21 partners, 13 counsels and 129 associates. Among them, 18 have Ph.D. degrees and 90 have master degrees.
