Liu Yiwei practices in the area of corporate law with a focus on capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and banking services.
Ms. Liu was admitted to the bar of People's Republic of China in 2007. She is the sub-editor of the second edition of Major Issues in Company Law (with PRC Chinese and English Comparative Notes) published in 2010 by Sweet & Maxwell Asia, a member of Thomson-Reuters. Ms. Liu is a graduate of Renmin University of China (LL.B.) and the National University of Singapore (LL.M., Corporate and Financial Service).
Representative Matters
ˇ Represented co-lenders Caterpillar Financial Services Asia Pte Ltd and Eksportfinans ASA in connection with a ship financing loan with an aggregate value of U.S. $83 million made to Shanara Maritime International S.A. for the construction and acquisition of a 141.7 meter special construction vessel to be named "Caballo Marango."
ˇ Represented PT Supraco Lines in the purchase of a mobile offshore oil production unit for US$35 million; advised on the terms of the memorandum of agreement and other sale documents entered into by the parties.
