| Biography | Lloyd Dickinson, a partner with Foley & Lardner LLP, advises publicly and privately held corporations, third party administrators, and plan trustees on employee benefit programs and policies. He serves as counsel to multi-employer pension and health and welfare plans, and assists frequently in the formation of Employee Stock Ownership Plans. Mr. Dickinson is a member of the firm's Tax & Individual Planning and Tax & Employee Benefits Practices and the Automotive Industry Team. Mr. Dickinson also has experience with tax, valuation and fiduciary litigation matters. Mr. Dickinson has made numerous presentations on the issues and development of employee benefit law to legal and professional organizations, and has taught an employee benefits and executive compensation course as a part-time faculty member in the MBA program at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. He is a past president of the Wisconsin Retirement Plan Professionals Ltd., a professional organization in this field. Mr. Dickinson has been selected for the last 20 years by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® in the field of employee benefits law and was named to the 2006, 2007 and 2008 lists of Wisconsin Super Lawyers® for his employee benefits/ERISA work. Mr. Dickinson is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, where he received his bachelor's degree in 1970, his J.D. degree, cum laude, in 1974, and was elected to the Order of the Coif legal honorary society. |
