Professional Experience
Lorraine Slavin has practiced in the area of residential real estate since 1989. Lorraine's practice involves meeting the needs of individual clients in connection with the purchase, sale, refinance, or leasing of residential real estate. Lorraine is a "hands-on" attorney who is there to answer her clients' questions and concerns regarding title issues, zoning issues, wetlands issues, leasing issues, and property development and construction issues. Lorraine serves a broad base of clients, including individual homeowners and real estate developers.
Lorraine received her undergraduate degree magna cum laude from Marymount College and her law degree cum laude from Fordham University School of Law. Lorraine served as a senior articles editor for the Fordham Law Review. Upon graduation, Lorraine clerked for The Honorable William H. Timbers, Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
Lorraine has served on the boards of Greenwich Continuing Education, the Housing Committee of the Greenwich Commission on Aging, and Connecticut Attorneys Title Insurance Company.
Lorraine has lived in Greenwich, CT since 1976. Prior to attending law school, Lorraine taught children of preschool age who were hearing impaired. Lorraine earned two masters degrees in special education from Hunter College and Manhattanville College.
