About this office:
On 1 October 2000 Lovells opened its offices in Italy, in Milan and Rome.
The firm's aim in Italy is to advise domestic and foreign clients on all aspects of their business, both in Italy and abroad.
In Italy, Lovells is able to rely on the support of more than 90 professional lawyers, headed by the Managing Partner Leah Dunlop.
Other Partners are: Andrea Accornero, Fulvia Astolfi, Francesco Curreli, Jeff Greenbaum, Marco Lantelme, Luigi Mansani, Paolo Ricci, Francesca Rolla, Marco Rota Candiani, Andrew Welbourn, and consultants: Domenico Borzumato and Gian Paolo Zanchini.
The international character of Lovells and the full integration of the Italian offices into its international operations are strengthened by the presence in Italy of lawyers qualified in England and Wales, Belgium and the United States. The Italian offices are able to provide specialised advice in the areas of commercial, industrial, competition, new technologies, labour, banking, capital markets, financial, tax, insurance and administrative law, both in Italy and abroad.
The Italian offices are fully integrated with Lovells' international network. The fee earners work closely with other foreign offices, sharing the know-how and capabilities of different markets and jurisdictions.
The Lovells lawyers in the Italian offices have in depth experience of their jurisdictional area and comprehensive knowledge of the macroeconomic and cultural aspects of the country in which they work. This helps them to advise clients in all aspects of domestic transactions. At the same time, their experiences abroad, the presence of foreign lawyers in the Italian offices and the strong links with Lovells' other international offices, enable our lawyers to understand the needs of foreign clients and to work on documents in Italian, English, German and French. In this way lawyers are able to undertake work and solve problems in different markets with different rules.
