- Structured joint venture between major U.S. discount retailer and Mexican partner to open multiple stores in Mexico.
- Reorganized a U.S. joint venture between a NYSE company and a Belgian public company for the manufacture of industrial films, on behalf of the U.S. party.
- Structured joint venture between U.S. company and European-based company for the production, distribution and finance of major Hollywood blockbuster movies.
- Represented Callaway Golf (NYSE) in acquisition of Callaway distributors in Korea, France, and Germany.
- Represented Heller Financial, Inc., a major non-bank lender, as to its Mexico lending program, and advice on non-recourse loans in Mexico secured by lease revenue.
- Represented Daimler-Chrysler de Mexico in a five-year exclusive vehicle importation and distribution agreement with Hyundai Motor Company of Korea.
- Advised a variety of domestic and international companies in the acquisition and distribution of television broadcast rights of major sporting events (e.g., FIFA World Cup Games, IAFF Golden League Events, IAFF WAS Games, FIFA Confederation Games, FIBA Events, Brazilian Soccer Events, EURO Games) in the Middle East, Africa and Latin America.
- Advised start-up transportation technology company on a global patent protection and commercialization strategy.
- Advised Canadian digital asset management software company on license of software and enterprise solution to EMI/Capitol Records.
- Developed international patent portfolio for emerging wireless telecommunications company.
- Developed and maintain international trademark portfolio for top 10 Internet retailer and for international medical instrument manufacturer.
- Represented in $50 to $150 million minority private investments in major European retailer.
- Represented in the €20 to €70 acquisition of Netherlands mattress company and related U.S. licensing.
- Developed major trademark portfolio and oppositions in Europe, Asia, and the U.S.
- Anti-counterfeiting campaigns in China and Hong Kong.
- Customs actions in Australia, Canada, Europe. and the U.S.Sale of fitness centers in Hong Kong and Singapore to Asian affiliates of 24 Hour Fitness for $42 million.
- Investment and licensing transaction valued at over $20 million for Italian pharmaceutical company in U.S. biotech company.
- Reorganization and dissolution of Irish subsidiary's U.S. operations.
- Negotiated enabling technology license transactions for petrochemical plants in India.
- Negotiated pharmaceutical product research and development agreements in India.
- Negotiated aircraft acquisition and refurbishment for Fiji air operator.
