The attorneys in the Construction Group have broad experience in construction law, starting in the planning phase through completion and dispute resolution. Luce Forward attorneys represent national homebuilders, developers, owners, condominium converters, general contractors, architects and engineers, construction managers, financial institutions, investors, landlords and tenants, municipalities, and title, bond and liability insurers. The attorneys are involved in all types of private and public works of improvement, including residential developments, condominiums, highrises, apartments, and conversions, and commercial developments, including build-to-suit, mixed use, shopping centers, offices, research and development, universities, hospitals, hotels, and public infrastructure, such as stadiums, ballparks, dams, water supply and sewer outfalls.

The transactional members of the Construction Group assist in pre-construction planning, including zoning and permits, environmental, acquisition and leasing, and counseling on all aspects of risk management from entity formation, wrap and CGL insurance, indemnities, ADR, mold, document and SB800 protocols. The attorneys have experience in the negotiation and drafting of industry form and custom construction contracts, subcontracts, design contracts, and construction management agreements.
