Lucericia Messiah practices in the area of employment law with a focus on executive compensation and employee benefits. Ms. Messiah has broad transactional experience advising clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions. Her practice includes work with both public and private companies, including companies held by private equity investors. Ms. Messiah regularly assists clients with regard to day-to-day compliance matters involving employment agreements, change in control agreements, deferred compensation arrangements, equity-based compensation arrangements and other benefits programs. She also addresses special compliance issues arising under Section 409A of the Internal Revenue Code. She focuses her pro bono work in the field of immigration and in assisting nonprofits.
Ms. Messiah is a 2004 cum laude graduate of Howard University School of Law and a magna cum laude graduate of Pace University.
