Ludmila has appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia and before the Supreme Court of Canada. She has also represented clients in various arbitration proceedings. Ludmila joined Farris in 1998 after graduating as the Law Society Gold Medalist from the University of British Columbia. Ludmila co-authored and updates Commercial Arbitration in Canada: A Guide to Domestic and International Arbitrations (Canada Law Book), a leading arbitration text, and has authored articles and papers on arbitration, class actions, civil procedure and other topics. Ludmila has lectured for the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia and taught Commercial Transactions as an adjunct professor at the University of British Columbia Faculty of Law. Ludmila is also the former President and Secretary of the Advocates Club, a group of litigators from leading Vancouver firms, is presently on the Executive of the Administrative Law subsection-Vancouver of the Canadian Bar Association and is a member of ad IDEM (an organization for media lawyers). | | | ISLN | 914143619 | |
