Lynn Morrow joined Adams and Reese in 2001 to assist in the development of the firm's Entertainment and New Media Practice Group. Lynn is the Partner in Charge of the firm's Nashville Music Row office.
A former litigator in Southern California, Lynn moved to Nashville in 1992 to pursue a career in entertainment law. She represents businesses that promote music and other forms of entertainment as well as artists, authors, songwriters, music publishers and producers. She was voted Nashville Journal's "Best of the Bar" for several years by peer review and is past Chair of the Entertainment and Sports Section of the Nashville Bar Association and Tennessee Bar Association. She is also a member of the Entertainment and Sports Law section of the California Bar Association, a member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences and the Copyright Society of the South.
Lynn writes extensively on copyright and entertainment-related subjects, and her article, "The Recording Artist Agreement: Does it Empower or Enslave?" was published by the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment Law and Practice. Lynn is also in demand for numerous speaking engagements.
Her significant contributions include:
· Serving as legal counsel for the Gospel Music Association and the Christian Music Trade Association.
· Representing the Nashville Symphony as entertainment counsel for more than 10 years.
· Representing a number of clients in Christian and country music.
In her free time, Lynn is a huge tennis fan and player. She also enjoys live music and international travel.
