Jason Sumrall is an Associate of the firm Copeland, Cook, Taylor & Bush, P.A. and is located in the Biloxi, Mississippi office of the firm. Jason is a member of multiple sections of the firm including the Insurance Defense, Maritime, and the Workers Compensation Section. Jason graduated from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in 2003. He received his Juris Doctorate degree, magna cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2006 where he was also a member of Phi Delta Phi legal honorary.
Jason has conducted trials and practiced before both state and federal courts in Mississippi as well as the Mississippi Workers Compensation Commission. His practice centers on the defense of personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, product liability, maritime, commercial and private motor vehicle accidents, uninsured motorist, municipal liability under the Mississippi Torts Claims Act, contract, workers compensation and maritime litigation. Among the clients whom Jason has represented are numerous corporations and political subdivisions including cities and counties.
Jason is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association, the Harrison County Bar Associations, Harrison County Young Lawyers Association, and the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association. Jason resides in Gulfport, Mississippi with his wife Whitney.
