Madeleine Lamothe-Samson's practice covers all aspects of intellectual property law. She deals mainly with copyright law, entertainment law and trade-mark issues. She also regularly advises clients in the music, television and film, book publishing, Internet and advertising industries. Ms. Lamothe-Samson also acts in litigation involving these industries and various other aspects of intellectual property.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Lamothe-Samson completed a training period with a law firm in Mexico City, where she acquired experience in copyright and trade-marks, particularly in relation to the Internet. She then earned a master's degree in intellectual property law at the University of Toronto.
