Malcolm Brown is a shareholder practicing in Butzel Long's Bloomfield Hills office. Mr. Brown is a graduate of University of Minnesota Law School and Michigan State University. Mr. Brown has practiced labor and employment law representing management only for over 25 years. He has substantial experience in all areas of private and public sector labor and employment law including collective bargaining, Act 312 arbitrations, private sector interest arbitration, unfair labor practice cases, union organizing, labor contract arbitration, statutory and constitutional issues involving public employees, civil rights, employee discharge and discipline and other complex matters. Mr. Brown lectures frequently on labor law topics and has presented in-house training seminars on a variety of subjects including union organizing, interest arbitration, disability discrimination, discharge and discipline, drug testing, civil rights and wrongful discharge. He has published articles for several industry trade groups and professional associations including the American Society of Employers, Michigan Chamber of Commerce and the Construction Association of Michigan.
