Marc MacMullin is a partner in the Business Law Group and co-head of the Structured Finance Group in Toronto.
His practice focuses on structured finance transactions, asset-backed programmes, and covered bond transactions. He has extensive experience in single-seller and multi-seller securitization transactions for various asset classes, including credit card receivables, trade receivables, retail instalment contracts, leases, CMBS and RMBS. Mr. MacMullin has been lead counsel to a number of Canadian banks on the establishment of their global covered bond programmes and related international offerings.
Mr. MacMullin has acted as lead counsel on numerous public structured finance transactions for both issuers and underwriters. Mr. MacMullin has been listed in the 2011 edition of Chambers Global: World's Leading Lawyers for Business as a leading lawyer in the area of banking and finance. Mr. MacMullin is a leading lawyer in the area of asset securitization in the 2011 edition of LEXPERT/The American Lawyer Guide to the Leading 500 Lawyers in Canada and the 2012 edition of the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory, a guide to the leading law firms and practitioners in Canada. Mr. MacMullin is listed in the 2012 Best Lawyers in Canada in the field of structured finance law. He has also spoken at and written papers for structured finance conferences.
Mr. MacMullin graduated from the University of Western Ontario with his LL.B and was called to the Ontario bar in 1990.
