Marc Philibert is the Managing Partner of the Montréal office. He has a broad business law practice, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financing, corporate reorganizations, private equity financing and management buy-outs. He works with small and medium-sized enterprises, institutional and private investors (including venture capital investors), and universities.
He is a member of the board of directors of Le Grand Défi Pierre Lavoie and Fondation Go, two well-recognized non-profit organizations in Quebec.
Recently, Mr. Philibert and his colleague Hubert Sibre, successfully secured new financing for Atis Group, one of Canada's largest manufacturers, in a deal worked out with GE Capital, National Bank of Canada and the Desjardins Group.
