Marco Cozza, a Founding Partner of CTM Avvocati and Managing Partner of the Milan Office, specializes in corporate law, Italian and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, as well as LBO, MBO and private equity transactions. He has special expertise in joint ventures, especially abroad. Additionally, he has gained considerable experience in negotiating acquisition finance and project finance documentation and related security packages and has advised primary Italian and European banks and Private Equity funds. Marco advises international corporations on corporate compliance matters involving their Italian or EU subsidiaries.
In the recent years, Marco represented Italian and International companies in the industries of hotels, internet and new technologies, food, communications, publishing and cosmetics.
Marco Cozza has advised on the restructuring of Italian industrial groups in distressed situations. Mr. Cozza spent some years in Middle Eastern countries, gaining a useful familiarity with their culture and linguistic skills.
Marco Cozza regularly advises Italian and international corporations on international trade contracts, including distribution agreements, supply and manufacturing agreements, procurement and services agreements, international sale of goods.
Prior to founding CTM, Marco was with the US law firm Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, Milan office, Italy, and previously with Vita Samory, Fabbrini e Associati, Milan office, Italy. Later, he was also a partner of Raifer Rechtsanwälte-Avvocati, Milan office, Italy.
Marco is fluent in English and Italian and speaks Arabic.
