A firm of 10 attorneys, Marcus, Clegg & Mistretta, P.A. was founded on March 1, 1996, as Marcus, Grygiel & Clegg, P.A. On July 1, 2000, we changed the name of the firm to Marcus, Clegg & Mistretta, P.A., in order to reflect Lynn Mistretta's outstanding professional achievements and stature in the legal community, as well as Steve Grygiel's retirement from the full time private practice of law.
The firm now employs 8 lawyers in all phases of corporate and commercial law, including mergers, acquisitions, securities, financings, reorganizations and restructuring, creditors and debtor's rights, bankruptcy, commercial litigation and other related fields. We use our expertise and experience in a practical and common sense way, effectively employing cutting edge technologies. It is often reported to us by our clients (and sometimes by our opponents) that a ten minute call with one of us is worth hours spent with others. We are proud of that.
