As the founding attorney of the Marcus Flinders Law Firm, Marcus has the unique opportunity of fusing together two worlds that he loves: business and law. As an attorney, Marcus focuses his practice on tax and business law, estate planning, bankruptcy/civil law, and family law.
Marcus also has over fifteen years of experience as an entrepreneur and businessman. He has managed multi-million dollar budgets at Fortune 500 companies, sold products on the front-lines in retail, and spearheaded start-up ventures in diverse industries.
Marcus has a special relationship with the people of Africa. He has volunteered his time and service in Africa, particularly Cote d'Ivoire and is proficient in the French language. During law school Marcus had the privilege of being elected the Vice President of the Valparaiso Chapter of the Black Law Students Association (BLSA).
Marcus received his Bachelor of Science in Philosophy from Utah Valley University, his law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law in Northwest Indiana, and is currently pursuing a Master of Laws in Taxation at the University of Denver's Sturm College of Law.
Marcus, his wife and three children are happy to call Colorado home. His hobbies include cooking, coaching youth sports, officiating high school basketball, and playing basketball and football.
